Target PDF file size

Try compression profiles and check whether the result meets your limit. No account required. Processing stays in your browser.

YOUR EVERYDAY WORKSPACE

Compression converts pages to images: selectable text, links, fields and signatures are lost. Review every page. Reaching every target size is not guaranteed. Maximum 20 MB and 100 pages.

How to use this tool

  1. Enter your data in the labeled fields. For lists, use one row per item and separate columns with |.
  2. Generate the result and check the units and entered values.
  3. Download the generated file and review it before sharing.

Get a useful result

Enter the form limit in decimal KB: 1000 KB is 1,000,000 bytes. The tool compares profiles when needed and tells you whether the file meets the target; download and inspect it before submitting it elsewhere.

A practical example

If a portal requires 1000 KB, enter 1000 and check the resulting size. If no profile reaches the limit, the tool tells you.

What happens if the limit cannot be reached?

The smallest result obtained is offered with a target-not-met message. If the original already fits, it needs no compression. A very low limit can conflict with readability; do not submit an unreadable document just because it is small enough.
