Work hours calculator
Subtract breaks and calculate pay at a fixed hourly rate.
How the calculation works
Paid minutes = hours × 60 + additional minutes − unpaid break. Divide by 60 and multiply by the hourly rate.
A practical example
7 hours 30 minutes minus a 30-minute break gives 7 paid hours. At 12 per hour, the amount is 84.
Important details
This is not take-home pay. It excludes payroll deductions, overtime rules, allowances and employment-agreement provisions.

Get a useful result
Enter start and end times and subtract only breaks that should not count. Check the duration before using the amount: the hourly rate is your input, not a payroll calculation under an employment agreement.
How do I enter several workdays?
This tool calculates one interval. For several days or people, use the shift log and review each row. Overtime rules, mandatory breaks, taxes and contributions are not included automatically.
